The Buzz: With half-term just around the corner and travel still a pipe dream for many (flights are HOW MUCH?), staycations remain on the table for the time being. We never would have imagined that the Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel would have that much to offer families, but our little ones had an absolute blast in this chic hotel, which has enjoyed a massive refurb and rebrand in the past few years.
The Staycation: The Stay & Play packages puts The Park Lane Pullman’s lush bathtubs front and centre. If you don’t have a bath at home, kids and grownups alike will swoon at the spacious tubs at the Park Lane. The hotel has teamed up with baby skincare brand Seba-Med, and each room booked comes with a bottle of skin-friendly baby bubble bath and an adorable magnetic fishing game for hours of fun. For older kids, the hotel has also partnered with RYZE trampoline park in North Point to offer a one-hour session (Fri-Sun) as part of the package. Kids are also entitled to a one-hour art jamming session, where you can get creative on a stretch canvas. Given how lovely the rooms are, this staycay is a bargain, with prices starting at $1,099 for the Seba-Med package, and $1,229 for RYZE, both inclusive of breakfast for two adults and one child.
What else? Causeway Bay doesn’t seem like a kid-friendly destination at first glance, but the Park Lane Pullman overlooks Victoria Park, which has plenty of green spaces, playgrounds and scooting paths to explore. It’s also situated directly opposite Windsor House, which is home to several soft plays, and shops targeted towards little ones, from bookstores to toy shops.
The Verdict: This staycay is a fun-filled, wallet-friendly option for families looking for a change of scene. It’s a thumbs-up from us! Both packages are available until the end of the year.
