What do you usually have for breakfast?
Organic multigrain cereal, fruit and scrambled eggs. I’m sponsored by Rude Health so I generally eat their cereals.
What’s your main protein source?
I’m a big meat eater. Meat in Hong Kong is more expensive than it is in the States, but I can’t live without chicken or beef.
What are your favourite restaurants when eating out?
I often go to Cova, or Amigo in Happy Valley. Lau Yuen is an excellent Shanghainese restaurant.
What do you eat on cheat day?
Ice cream, for something sweet. Elephant Grounds is the best in Hong Kong for sure.
What do you eat before and after exercising?
I can’t work out on an empty stomach. I usually drink some blended cereals mixed with milk, blueberries, and banana. For afternoon workouts I need carbs before I exercise.
Have you ever done a cleanse?
No, but I want to.
When were you at your least healthy?
When I gained the Freshman 20! I put on 20 pounds in my first year of college. I ate so much fast food. I am very careful with my diet now, but I do have some cheat days, particularly when I am stressed with work.
When was the last time you ate McDonalds?
A month ago. I was in a rush so I had to order a Filet O Fish and a McChicken burger. I enjoyed it because I hadn’t had it in a while. That’s why they’re cheat meals – they make a stressed-out person happier.
