The Buzz
Dissatisfied with the bedding offerings at homeware and department stores, Shoplinen founder, Hong Kong interior designer Matthew Li, decided to create his own range of perfect linens. WIth a line of sheets, duvet covers and knitted blankets, this homegrown brand is manufactured by true artisans who have been weaving world-class bedding for more than 50 years. These crisp percale sheets are soft, cool, breathable and deliciously comfortable to sleep on – perfect for Hong Kong’s sticky nights.

The Design
All the products are designed thoughtfully and with the consumer in mind. The duvet covers come with fabric ties in all four corners to keep your blanket in place, and the buttons are made from eco-friendly coconut shell and tuck away for a sleek look. Made with 100 percent Egyptian cotton, the sheets are sturdy, and soften with repeated washes. The fitted sheet fits mattresses up to 15 inches deep.

What Else
Both single items and sets are available, meaning that you can mix and match colours. We also love this company’s eco-credentials and commitment to planet-friendly manufacturing processes – the sheets are Oeko-Tex-certified (meaning they’re free from chemicals and synthetics) and are manufactured without the use of silicone, formaldehyde and other nasties.
