With the festive season around the corner, Liv Magazine and Ovolo Southside invite you to join the Southside Urban Retreat!
Taking place from December 10-11, the two-day, all-inclusive retreat will feature:
-delicious healthy meals prepared by Ovolo
-fitness, yoga and meditation classes from some of the city’s top health facilitators
-a transformative health coaching talk over dinner on the 10th

Meet Our Instructors
Nathan Solia, Elite Personal Training
One of Hong Kong’s top personal trainers, Nathan is the founder of Elite Personal Training and was the pioneer of the outdoor bootcamp concept in Hong Kong back in 2005. He has trained more than 10,000 clients through the course of his career, and is passionate about taking a holistic approach to fitness, incorporating exercise, nutrition and lifestyle changes for real results. Nathan will be kicking off the retreat with a high-energy bootcamp class on the morning of the 10th.
Alexa Massingham, Mind Body Matters
A yoga teacher and mindfulness practitioner, Alexa runs certified mindfulness courses to kids and teens, both privately and in schools. A certified yoga instructor, she also creates bespoke programs incorporating elements of yoga, mindfulness and meditation to encourage people to live more mindfully in their day-to-day lives. Alexa will be leading a meditation workshops with elements of mindfulness on the afternoon of the 10th.
Steffi Lopez Gonzalez, Your Life Your Playground
A true globetrotter, Steffi has worked as a TV presenter and editor in The Netherlands, Spain and South America, before studying life coaching in Miami, Florida. She trained as a yoga teacher in India before teaching in Bali. Now based in Hong Kong, Steffi is a Lululemon ambassador and does talks, classes, and retreats internationally. Steffi will be leading the sundown yoga class on the afternoon of the 10th.
Tatiana Kuvardina, Your Wellness Path
A transformational holistic health coach, Tatiana understands the emotional factors that drive eating habits, and the mind-body connection. She combines her knowledge of nutrition, psychology of eating, human behaviour, neuroscience and psychology to help clients set sustainable healthy eating goals that they’ll actually stick to. Tatiana will be giving a wellness talk over dinner on the 10th.
Martina Lee, Pure Yoga
A senior yoga teacher and manager at Pure Yoga, Martina has a ton of experience and has more than 1,500 hours of teacher training under her belt. She also brings reiki, sound therapy and Thai yoga massage to her practice. Her goal is to allow her students to live a more vibrant life and reach their highest potential.
Dani Bruns, Flex Studio
A highly qualified instructor, Dani teaches aerial yoga and fitness at Flex Studio in Wong Chuk Hang and Central. She’s also a highly qualified yoga instructor, and most recently completed a course at the Abhinam Yoga Centre in Goa, India. She has taught yoga in Scotland, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Dani will be leading a Hatha yoga class on the morning of the 11th.
