New Pilates Studio Macau
The new kid on the fitness block, Pilates House Macau is founded by Instagram influencer Ceci Lam. Ceci is a Polestar Pilates instructor, certified pre- and- post-natal Pilates instructor and all-round cool girl.
Her studio teaches a range of Reformer classes, including Base, Body, Stretch, Cardio and Core, and upon request they will also do private classes tailored to your needs. Expect low-impact exercises with a focus on core strengthening and elongating the muscles, with the aim of improving your posture and mobility while strengthening both your body and mind.

Macau hike: Our Lady of Penha
You might be surprised to learn that Macau is home to many hiking routes and great places to stretch those legs between dice rolls and Macanese feasts. A hike up to the Chapel of our lady of Penha is a must if you’re looking to work up a sweat and do something a little cultural at the same time. You can easily vary your pacing, making it either a relaxed stroll or an intense power walk! On your way up to the monument, which dates back to 1622, you’ll pass some of the old Portuguese-style homes that housed the government and military back in the day. One of the few remaining areas dotted with houses rather than apartments, it’s one of Macau’s greenest areas. The chapel that sits at the top is situated on one of the highest peaks in Macau. It has the most stunning views of the city, taking in Macau Tower, Taipa Island and all the way across to Zhuhai.
