In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is offering an expanded version of its famed “Escape 24” Hong Kong staycation package. Rosewood Hong Kong
The city’s newest, splashiest hotel, Rosewood Hong Kong has several Hong Kong staycation options, including a Family Escape with breakfast and children’s amenities, but the one that’s giving us all the feels is the Suite Retreats package. Check into a suite and get access to the Manor Club lounge, access to the Asaya wellness centre, and enjoy the ministrations of your very own butler.
How’s the pool? Located at Asaya, the wellness centre, the 25-metre infinity pool has unbeatable harbour views.
Looking for an awesome deal? All three of Shangri-la’s properties – Island Shang, Kowloon Shang and Kerry Hotel – are offering a family staycation deal until the end of the year. It’s simple: you get a buffet dinner and breakfast for two adults and one child under 12, plus a cute kid’s amenity bag, plus pool access for the duration of your stay.
How’s the pool? The Kerry Hotel has a lovely heated infinity pool that overlooks Whampoa, with lounge chairs facing the harbour.
Le Meridien Cyberport
With its reasonable prices and close proximity to parks, lawns and a cinema, Le Meridien Cyberport is a favourite among families. It has a ton of Hong Kong staycation packages, including the South Escape Staycation. The package includes a Tesla pickup from anywhere on Hong Kong Island, breakfast for two, a bottle of sparkling wine, two welcome eclairs and $200 spending credit for F&B during your stay.

Auberge Discovery Bay
Located right on the waterfront, Auberge Discovery Bay is a great spot for a Hong Kong staycation that’s surrounded by nature yet not too remote. Their Yoga Escape package includes a night’s stay, breakfast and afternoon tea for two and a one-hour yoga class for two at yogaUP.
How’s the pool? Surrounded by mountains, this 25-metre mosaic pool is perfect for laps and leisurely dips alike.

Located beside Pak Sha Wan Pier overlooking Hebe Haven, The Pier, a 40-room boutique hotel, is the perfect stopping off point for exploring Sai Kung, with beaches and kayaking opportunities all within spitting distance. There are several offers for staycations; for instance, the Birthday package includes daily breakfast for two, a bottle of red wine, birthday room decor, shuttle bus and free use of the pool, gym and rooftop garden.
How’s the pool? The gorgeous rooftop pool is closed from November to April.

Four Seasons Hong Kong
The Four Seasons is offering 15% off its best available rate when you book a weekend stay online. As an added perk, you can also redeem a complimentary American set breakfast for two (free for kids 11 and under), 20% off nail services, and late checkout until 4pm. Plus, you can get the opportunity to sample a delicious set menu at three-Michelin-starred Caprice and Lai King Heen at $3,640 and $2,200 respectively – but move fast; pre-bookings are essential and availability is limited. The deal is available on stays until October 31.
How’s the pool? The vast pool deck is home to several outdoor heatd pools, including an infinity hot tub tucked around the corner.

The Murray Hong Kong
The ultra-luxe Murray Hong Kong is offering a couple of spa staycation packages. Both packages include a complimentary upgrade to an Explorer Suite, daily breakfast, welcome tea at The Garden Lounge, a Barbara Sturm Instant Glow Facial for two, a spa gift and use of the vitality pool swimming pool and gym. The Spa Indulgence is $5,150, while the Rejuvenation Experience is $6,500 and includes a 60-minute meditation class for two.

One of Hong Kong’s classic hotels, the Mandarin Oriental offers a weekend package that includes a complimentary room upgrade, late checkout at 4pm, breakfast and a bottle of sparkling wine and house-made chocolates. Plus, book in for a 60-minute spa treatment and get an extra 30 minutes free of charge! Currently on promotion however, is the Staycation Package. Available until October 6, guests can book a room for just $2,800 and enjoy a complimentary minibar on top of that. You’ll need to present your HKID to redeem.
How’s the pool? The MO’s indoor pool was retrofitted, making it better for floating than lane swimming. We do love the LED wall that live streams the Hong Kong skyline though!
Have a Mong Kok staycation at Cordis Hotel, which has a fabulous early check-in, late check out promotion. The deal includes 10am check-in, 3pm check out, a Michelin-starred dim sum set lunch at Ming Court and $500 spa credit per room per stay. Valid until October 10.

W Hong Kong

How’s the pool? Perched on the 76th floor, this outdoor heated pool is up in the sky. We love the sparkly, insta-ready mosaic and hot tub that you can jump into when the wind gets too much.
Hong Kong Disneyland
One for families, Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is big on whimsy. Between the character dining experiences, the itinerary of kids’ activities, the playroom and the surprise appearances from princesses and other favourite characters, who even needs to visit the park? Guests have access to the pools and facilities at all three hotels, so there’s plenty to explore.
How’s the pool? Awesome. There’s a 40-metre slide that the kids will happily go down all afternoon, as well as an ankle-deep shallow end that babies will love.
