Fit Fam: January 2018 | Liv

Happy New Year! If, like me, you’ve spent the last couple of weeks blanketed in a combination of stretch jersey and refined carbs, then January marks the ideal opportunity to swap slippers for sneakers and get moving. This month, I’ve got a brand new ethical kids clothing brand, a day of fitness fun just for teens, and an online helping hand for parents-to-be.

Making Waves

Little Waves Hong Kong

Newly launched unisex kids brand Little Waves has just washed ashore in Hong Kong, bringing a small but perfectly formed capsule collection of surf and skate-inspired togs for tots aged 18 months to four years. Think easy breezy acid-washed shorts, bucket hats, and colourful tees that are perfect for a long day shredding waves (or building sandcastles). The range also includes adorable cuddly surfer bears and handy tote bags, ethically produced in South Africa by women from the “Hopeful Hearts” programme, which helps single mothers learn to sew in order to support themselves and their families. Rad and ethical? We’re in.

Prices from US$20-35 (HK$156-273). Buy online at littlewaves.co.
