VEDA reopens this month with a new free-flow brunch and dog-friendly terrace

Just in time for the holiday season, one of our fave vegetarian kitchens is back in action! After closing for renovations, VEDA is reopening its doors this month and we can’t wait to check out some of the newest additions, from a dog-friendly terrace offering a daily “Puppy Hour” (3-7PM) to a pastry counter selling treats by Alive Foods. Even more exciting is the promise of a brand new free-flow brunch: VEDA’s Champagne Brunch ($598) includes two hours of Perrier-Jouët, wine, beer, and a specialty cocktail, not to mention a six-course of delicious veggie plates and a free-flow dosa (think South Asian crepes) bar.

Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more. Entry is $250 for early bird and $300 standard, and included a goodie bag from L’Oreal worth more than $1,000. Book your tickets now!
