John Anthony
Swerve the turkey with a modern Chinese feast at John Anthony, the highlight of which is their festive special: a signature 42-day roasted Peking duck, rubbed with five-spice, available only from November 29 to December 26. Or keep things simple with a set menu of their crowd favourites, including razor clams with white vinegar pickled peppercorns; pink rosé lobster har gao, and ginseng panna cotta. It’s $680+10% for a minimum of four guests; 24 hours’ notice required.
Sip Song
Not spending the holidays in Thailand this year? Head to Sip Song in Repulse Bay for the next best thing. Their festive set menu is $300+10% per head (with a minimum of four people), and features a lineup of Sip Song signatures such as compressed fresh watermelon, a ‘Don’t Tell Mom” roti pancake, and the festive season exclusive crispy turkey breast. Available from November 29-December 26.

Limewood
Also located at The Pulse, Limewood’s festive set dinner offers a taste of the Caribbean, with sustainable New Zealand salmon tartare, 48-hour charred beef ribs and mixed berry pavlova, to name just a few. The menu is available from November 29-December 26 and costs $450 +10% per head for a minimum of four.

Mott 32
The festive celebrations continue at Mott 32, which reinterprets the Christmas turkey dinner with a Chinese twist. If you find traditional roasted turkey a little dull, Mott’s inventive version will have you coming back for more. This free-range whole bronzed turkey comes three ways: sliced and served with pancakes; shredded with five-shades salad; and minced with water chestnuts and served with lettuce cups. The dishes are suitable for up to six people to share. Available November 25-December 31. 48-hour advance notice required.
Mercedes me
Located right in the heart of Central, Mercedes me offers a modern take on the traditional festive roast dinner at $400+10% per head for a minimum of four. Rather than your regular roasties, think whipped sweet potato hummus with Sichuan chickpeas, and instead of a carvery, you’ll find a juicy seared turkey breast with cranberry spiced jus, and a delicious Grand Marnier chestnut tart to finish.
