My Meat Run Laboratory opens in Lai Chi Kok

Plant-based My Meat Run Laboratory opens its doors at the D2 Place Mall. Decked out like an old-school classroom (complete with drinks served in Pyrex glasses!), the restaurant is working closely with Impossible Foods to serve up classic Hong Kong diner dishes with a meat-free twist: think Impossible patty with Japanese-style curry sauce and rice; or Impossible mince patty with pickled vegetables served in a clay pot. Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
