Pour one out for the plant-based homies. One of our fave vegan dining options in the city closed its doors at the end of March, as owner Lisa Terauchi (and one-time Liv cover model) embarks on a new journey abroad with her family. We’re already missing the hedgehog mushroom karage! If you’re after a new vegan hotspot in the area, you could always try nearby 404plant, a plant-based bagel cafe also serving homemade ice cream, milkshakes, coffee and cocktails.

Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more. Entry is $250 for early bird and $300 standard, and included a goodie bag from L’Oreal worth more than $1,000. Book your tickets now!
