Maka Hiki Lounge Pops up at The Upper House

The bars are still shut for now, but over at The Upper House, you’ll find a tropical getaway that feels almost like a holiday. The folks at Honi Honi Cocktail Lounge have collaborated with the hotel to launch Maka Hiki, a day-to-night dining and drinking popup that stays on the right side of the current social distancing restrictions. Taking over the hotel’s outdoor terrace, you can enjoy CBD-infused drinks, 12Noon juices and tropical light bites during the day, and an intricate cocktail menu featuring some of Honi Honi’s signature tipples from the late afternoon onwards. The pop-up is running from now until May 31, so head down and pretend you’ve gone on holiday to Bora Bora for an hour or two.

Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
