Kerry Hotel’s Big Bay Cafe Launches Sustainable Gastronomy Buffet

Head to the Kerry Hotel’s Big Bay Cafe buffet restaurant to experience their sustainable dining promotion between now and April 30. Committed to sourcing from local, ethical businesses, you’ll find dishes from local fruit and veggie suppliers, as well as the hotel’s own garden. At the new “Taste Fresh, Go Green” counter, you can try salads from aquaponics brand Aquagreen, and fresh locally grown tomatoes from Hydrogrow, which you can pick yourself with a claw machine – well, that’s one way to get kids to eat tomatoes!

The hotel has also partnered with Oasis, a local farmed fish supplier, which offers sustainable seafood options. What’s more, all diners at the dinner service will recieve a DIY grow kit from Kerry Hotel and Hydrogro.

The buffet is $708 per head Mon-Thu and $808 per head on weekends and public holidays. Learn more here.
