Hong Kong team rows across Atlantic Ocean for charity in Talisker Atlantic Whiskey Challenge

If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to burn 5,000 calories a day, four Hong Kong rugby players have the answer: rowing across the Atlantic! The Talisker Atlantic Whiskey Challenge is a 3,000-mile race from the Canary Islands to Antigua, and Valley RFC teammates will be taking on the challenge in December to raise money for Childfund Pass it Back, a charity program that uses tag rugby to teach children a range of life skills. Under the team name East Rows West, the lads will be traversing an ocean which at its deepest is more than five miles deep – in a rowing boat, no less! You can follow their training journey via their IG page @eastrowswest, and head on over to their website to make a worthwhile donation. Good luck, team!
