Green swimwear brand August Society makes all its bathing suits from recycled materials

Do your bit for the planet while keeping cool this summer with August Society, a sustainable swimwear brand made from recycled materials. Founded by Toni Chan, a Hongkonger now based in Singapore, this ethical fashion label collects recyclable goods like plastic bottles and ghost fishing nets, turning them into eye-catching bikinis, one-pieces, rash guards and activewear. All their goods are resistant to chlorine, sun creams and oils, and they only produce in limited quantities to minimise overstock and waste. The summer collection is out now, and pieces range from $480-$1000.
