GREAT Food Hall now has eco-toiletries refill station

Supermarket heavyweight Park N Shop has teamed up with Kiwi personal care brand, Ecostore, to launch a refill station at their Great Food Hall in Pacific Place. Bring your own 500ml or 1L containers (or purchase a reusable one made from sugarcane plastic there) and you can fill up with cleaning and personal care products, from cleaners and detergents to body lotions and soaps. We’ve already stanned for our fave zero-waste shops around Hong Kong, but it’s beyond exciting to see a big player like Park N Shop get onboard! Finally, this eco-conscious approach to consumables seems to be going mainstream – who will be next to join the zero-waste movement?

Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
