Go Eat Bugs with Grazing HK

Working on reducing your meat intake? Insects are a great source of protein, B12 and iron, with a small environmental footprint that makes large scale food production a non-issue. Grazing is Hong Kong’s first online retailer specialising in edible insect-based delicacies, and they’re bringing in some of the best producers from around the world to challenge less eco-viable Asian mainstays, like pork and fish. The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
