Fivelements Habitat to shut at end of month, try their seasonal menu before it’s too late!

We’re so sad to hear the terrible news that Fivelements Habitat will be shutting down at the end of the month, after failing to renegotiate a new lease agreement in its Times Square location. Although we’ll miss their amazing sound baths, meditation sessions, and yoga classes, we’re going to miss their in-house restaurant the most.

Sakti Elixir Bar at Fivelements Habitat is one of our favourite farm-to-table, plant-based kitchens, and we are in love with their latest seasonal menu. Highlights include the chilled lemongrass coconut soup – a perfect light meal in this sweltering heat, or the warm sweet corn millet salad. For something heartier, the brown rice penne “A la Norma” comes with tomato coulis, eggplant, almond curd basil and pine nuts. Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
