Classified opens sister bakery brand, Rise by Classified, in Exchange Square

Love to see a local business expanding its empire! Beloved Hong Kong cafe chain, Classified, is getting into the baked goods game with their very own bakery, Rise by Classified. The new sister brand serves up pastries hot and fresh out the kitchen, perfecting classics like butter croissants, as well as daily specials made with seasonal ingredients. There’s also more substantial plates to fill up on, like eggs benedict on sourdough, and some nice healthy take-home products, like PÜRA VÏDA granola and Alive Food vegan cheese. Our new fave spot for a power lunch or cheeky pain au chocolat!

Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
