Yes!! the day has finally arrived. Government restrictions on recreational pools have eased (at time of writing, at least), and Water World is – cross fingers – opening on September 21! Old-school Hongkongers will have fond memories of the original Water World with its famous high-speed rainbow slides, and will be glad to learn that the new park has brought them back, along with no less than 27 of indoor and outdoor attractions for a splashing good time all year round. For thrill-seekers, you’ll find the Thunder Loop, Daredevil Drop and Bravery Cliffs, or else take it down a notch with the Lazy Cruise or kid-friendly Whiskers Splash zone. Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
