This new dumpling takeaway in Kennedy Town does a mean vegan momo

Blink and you’ll miss it, Momo Moment is a teeny-tiny takeaway on Forbes Street serving up the Nepalese dumplings that are their namesake. Newly opened, this brightly coloured food stall is the passion project of a Hongkonger who learned to make authentic momos from her Nepalese mother-in-law – so you know they’re the real McCoy. The menu offers loads of dumpling options, as well as other bites like chapatis, paneer cheese balls, and our fave, the vegan spiced potato momos, which at just $45 for 10, are a steal of a deal!

Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
