We love a fabulous salad bar, and the one at Prohibition steakhouse at Ocean Park is seriously impressive! Helmed by Chef de Cuisine Ivan Chan, formerly of the Steakhouse at the Intercontinental Hotel, Prohibition brings a similar level of detail and dedication that makes the salad bar far from an afterthought. Think quinoa salad with juicy berries, house-smoked salad, roasted veggies and grilled pineapple, cold cuts galore and a literal buffet of olive oils to choose from. Still hungry? Check out the Southern-style chicken and fries, and chilli with all the fixings.

Once you’ve had your fill of the salad bar, you can move onto your mains, choosing several options including steaks, toothfish, lamb chop, king prawns and more, all sourced from the best suppliers.

The set menu is $368 and includes unlimited salad bar, main and dessert. Add $198 for free-flow.

Shop Sustainable Fashion at The American Club on April 20

The American Club Foundation is hosting Sip Style & Shop, a sustainable shopping event on April 20! Taking place at The American Club in Tai Tam, this public event will see some of the city’s best eco business under one roof, offering more than 1,000 items of pre-loved clothing for sale (its on the Southside so you know the pickings will be good!) in support of three local charities: ImpactHK, RUN HK and Chatteris Educational Foundation. In addition to secondhand finds, you’ll also find new fashion and lifestyle items donated by the likes of Whistles, Rue Madame, Frey and Tove & Libra (pictured), as well as stalls from niin, beCandle, HULA, Naked Lab, Paper-Roses and more.
