You can also opt for their Urban Escape package, which includes a 90-minute massage, access to the pool and fitness centre, plus afternoon tea in the club lounge. Plateau Spa, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

The Life Lived Best Sensorial Journey is a 120-minute treatment that begins with a 15-minute opening ritual, followed by a guided breathing exercise with singing bowls. Then, there’s a 105-minute bespoke massage using VOYA aromatherapy oil, Finally, you can enjoy a delicious three-course Naturally Peninsula lunch at the poolside, before having a dip in the Roman style pool, using the fitness centre or simply relaxing on the sun terrace. Asaya, The Rosewood

The Rosewood’s ultra-luxe wellness centre offers a gorgeous day retreat that promises to nuture your mind, body and soul. Pick from a 60-minute guided wellness session – the menu includes singing bowl therapy, mindfulness meditation, express arts therapy and more – followed by a 60-minute spa treatment. Depending on your needs, you might plump for an Aroma Atelier treatment by Asaya, an Essential Detox Ritual by Evidens de Beauté or an anti-aging body treatment by Dr. Barbara Sturm. The retreat include access to the hotel’s fitness centre and infinity pool, plus a three-course lunch at Asaya Kitchen. The day retreat is $4,058, or you could upgrade to an overnight stay starting from $6,500.
